When it is time for a new scanner you definitely need to check out the latest portable scanners on the market. Portable scanner technology has really taken giant leaps forward in the past few years.  You should be able to save your self plenty of time with your new mobile or portable scanner.
There are a few front runners in the portable scanner field but they all do a little something different.  Investigating the top scanners on the market will be a very fruitful endeavor.  You can get an awesome portable scanner for less than $100.
I have two that are my personal favorites and for the money I think they will be best for most people on the go.
The Vupoint Wand Scanner and the Flip Pal Mobile scanner are the two portable scanners that have come to rescue of many of the disorganized.  Every have trouble looking for receipts come tax time?   Well me too!! But the new technology is going to change that this year.
You can read more about the Vupoint Wand Scanner Here and Here.  A quick summary will do for this article.  The Vupoint Scanner is a wand scanner of coarse and you actually to the scanning.  Hold the paper in place and roll the wand over the object you are scanning and it automatically saves it to your micro disk so you can load it onto your computer for storage or editing.  It is a great portable scanner that is light, small, runs on batteries and is easy to use.  You can get one here for under $90.00.  This scanner however does not come with the micro disk so you need to buy that separately.  You can also buy the micro disk here as well.
The next portable scanner we discuss will blow you away!   The Flip Pal from Rocky Mountain Ventures Company has been taking trade shows by storm as the best new innovation.  The Flip Pal Portable Scanner is very new to the market and is still available at a phenomenal price.

NeatDesk ADF Scanner has multiple sizes on it try for wide size range

TheScanner with Auto Feed such as the NeatDesk from Neat Company is the way to go for office work.  The Neat Desk has ADF and it has a tray with different sizes for business cards, receipts or postcards.  If you want to have less jams in your ADF Scanner then will want to chose an ADF Scanner with the different tray size option.

BUY NEATDESK HERE 399 OR LESSThe Vupoint Wand Scanner is a totally different device but it still is a great scanner.  It is ultra portable, runs on batteries and you move the Magic Wand over the paper to be scanned and it saves the scan to a micro disk.  It is very small and can fit in to your purse of even your pocket if you just had to have it with you.  It is about the length of a piece of paper and it is 1.5 inches high and 1.2 inches wide.  Super small, super portable and it can scan of those pages right out of a book that you could never get fully covered on a copier.
It doesn’t have the ADF but this scanner by Vupoint Solutions is a remarkable piece of equipment for the price.  It usually sells for under $90.  It is inexpensive enough to buy and just keep it exclusively in your car to use for daily receipts.  It is simple to use and within a few minutes you can be making great scans.  Be Sure to have an extra micro disk because that is not included in the price.

Both the Vupoint Scanner and the NeatDesk with Neatworks are very useful but seem to be built for different applications.

You will find plenty of uses for each scanner in your business.  I think the NeatDesk is a must for you office as the scanner workhorse.  Youc an either get the Vupoint Magic Wand Scanner or the NeatReceipts scanner for handling your documents while on the go.  Neither of these scanners have ADF technology like the NeatDesk but they have plenty of features and applications to make up for it.
