Scanner ADF from the TryNeat Company Neat CO

This ADF Scanner is a good offering from the Try Neat folks at Neat company.  It has the very unique functioning feed tray that will allow for 3 different sizes of materials.  This scanner is not a portable and must be tethered to the computer for operation.  The Neat Desk also comes with Neatworks software that so far is the most advanced used in scanning as far as reading capabilities.  This software will read some of the important information as it scans and input it for you automatically in to the proper category boxes for amount, date and location etc.  It works but it often doesn’t work well at reading your papers and receipts.  You will still do a lot of input typing.  The software does pick up a few things but it is not super reliable but it will save you a bit of time when it is accurate.  TryNeat and see if it you really thinking it is Neat.

The ADF Input tray is a patent pending design that is specifically made to accepts several different types of paper such as receipts, business cards and other notes.

Scan up to 25 Pages per minute and Neatworks will scan through all documents and hold them in memory in order to not delay the scanning process.  While NeatWorks saves the scans it begins to read them with OCR while the NeatDesk continues to finish the scanning without any delay for filing.

For anyone learning how to use any scanner this is a great book to get your started.  It tell you all the ins, outs and quirks of trying to get your scanner up and running with your computer.  Scanners are becoming easier and easier to use each year but this still is a must read for anyone who wants to save time, be more efficient.  If you want to try neat in your office you need to read this book first.  It will give you the neat desk you have always wanted in speedy fashion.  Eliminating paper is the first stop to getting Neat and Organized.  Clearing the clutter off your desk will make you much more productive as well.
